3 Years Old

Campbell had her 3 year Doctor visit today. She absolutely refused to get on the scales so the nurse could record her weight. We realized that bribing wasn't doing us any good, so the nurse suggested that Campbell and I get on the scales together. I'm not going to share my weight , but Campbell weighed in at 30 pounds and is 37 3/4 inches tall. She is 50 % in weight and 75% in height. Her doctor said she was perfect! Of course, I already knew that!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

We live in the greatest neighborhood. One of my neighbors got everyone together yesterday for our first annual Wedgwood Easter Egg Hunt. From the pictures, you can tell my daughters had a great time. Well at least Campbell did. Riley was just along for the ride.

Each plastic egg had a piece of chocolate in it. The first thing Campbell said when she woke up this morning was, "I want some candy". Spoken like a true female.

sweat hawgs

tonight was just daddy and the girls eating together. It was 66 degrees here today, pretty hot, yet I'm not about to cut on the AC yet (see 'lectric bill blog below) ....at supper Campbell said "what's on you cheek, daddy?" I said I don't know and she touched just in front of my ear saying "your cheek is crying"....Little does she know she has been cursed with her daddy's sweat hawg gene. Maybe Riley will be spared, but Ms. Brent Jr. was certainly not.

Tater-tot's two month check-up

Riley had her 2 month checkup today. Everything looks as expected. She weighed in at 10 lbs. 2 oz. and is 23 1/2 inches long.

Tater-tot's one month check-up

Riley had her one month check up Monday, Feb 19th and she weighs 9 pounds and 5 ounces and is 21 1/2 inches long. Everything looks good and she got her first shot.

peanut butter might be "yucky"

tainted peanut butter - Peter Pan and Wal-mart's Great Value brands. Look for the number 2111* on the top of the lid. We had a jar that was part of the potentially tainted batch. Thankfully, no one has been effected.

last night the 'lectric went out so we decided to go out to eat at Famous Anthony's. There were two small children at a table near by so C was repeatedly asking "What's he name? What's he name?" and pointing right at them with her index finger fully extended. Eventually, I was able to get her to stop pointing with her finger...then she picked up her pickle spear and pointed with that...
